Public Hearing Notice

Notice is hereby given that the City of Lowell Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 beginning at 7:00 pm at the Maggie Osgood Library, 70 North Pioneer Street, Lowell, Oregon, to consider Ordinance 300.  The Planning Commission will forward a recommendation to the Lowell City Council, who will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, beginning at 7:00 pm at the Maggie Osgood Library.

Ordinance 300

Adoption of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan and Comprehensive Plan Amendments

Anyone wishing to present written testimony on the proposed action may do so in writing prior to or at the Public Hearing.  Testimony and evidence must be directed toward the applicable approval criteria or other criteria, which a person believes to apply to the decision.  Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal of the Council’s decision based upon that issue.

Copies of the ordinance are available for inspection at no cost at Lowell City Hall.  Copies of the ordinance will be provided at reasonable cost.  A copy of the City's staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven days prior to the Public Hearing.

Information regarding the ordinance may be obtained from Jared Cobb, City Administrator at 541-937-2157 or via email at jcobb@ci.lowell.or.us.
