Lowell Beautification Day

The City of Lowell Parks and Recreation Committee will be hosting their annual Lowell Beautification Day on Saturday, October 5 from 9:00-12:00. Interested volunteers should meet at the Maggie Osgood Library, located at 70 North Pioneer Street.

This year’s project is the cleanup and restoration of the landscaping at the Lowell Post Office. We will also have containers for residents to dispose of household items, yard waste, and will collect cans and bottles for the Lowell School District in the Library parking lot.

Volunteers are asked to wear work clothes and gloves. Light refreshments will be available in the morning, and lunch will be served at the end of the event at the Library.
